Ajax Amsterdam vs Heracles Almelo

Ajax is also the leader of the Premier League after the international match period. It seems like an eternity ago that the team from Amsterdam gave a college of practice football to FC Utrecht. The Domstedelingen walked around the Johan Cruijff Arena as an MAVO student on a sniffing internship at the football university.

Ajax is, of course, the perfect favorite for the title this season. The lead over the competition is large and also on the field there is currently no stable team in the Netherlands. The interruption will not change that. There is one more question: is Ten Hag still on the couch as a trainer in the coming months?

Heracles Almelo is in a neat seventh place and is working on a very pleasant season. This is partly due to striker Cyriel Dessers, who blossomed in the east of the country after a less successful period at FC Utrecht. With three goals, the sympathetic Belgian had a large share in the 6-1 victory that the Heracmen won at VVV-Venlo.

This also immediately meant the end for trainer Robert Maaskant in Limburg, and more confidence in Almelo. Another flavor maker is Mauro Junior. This player is one to keep an eye on this season.

Despite the good shape of Heracles, Ajax is a size too big and will take the points in-house.
