Later, Lyon humiliated Bourg en Bresse in the French Cup, 7-0 away. The guests also secured their place in the semi-finals of the French League Cup, after a 3-1 with Brest. Dembele, Aouar and Jean Lucas scored for Lyon, while S. Grandsir scored for Brest. Lyon wins the last trip here, in April 2019, with a score of 3-2.
