FC Utrecht vs Vitesse

FC Utrecht was hit hard in The Hague on Saturday night. It became 5-0 for ADO. And that in a week in which Utrecht first defeated Feyenoord in-house and then set a record by winning 2-6 in Venlo where VVV was put to the slaughter. The defeat is therefore extra hard on the team of Dick Advocaat. The latter also exchanged defender Timo Letschert for disciplinary reasons after an argument in the dressing room during the tea. In the battle for the fourth or even third place of the Premier League, FC Utrecht seems to have dropped out.

And then it can play against Vitesse at home. And Vitesse is in shape, as witnessed by the draw that it won against PSV. That made PSV the leader, but there had been more to it for the Arnhem team. Vitesse is in seventh place in the Eredivisie, four points behind FC Utrecht. A victory over this competitor is therefore welcome.

But FC Utrecht will want to revanch itself before its own public for the off-day in The Hague. Whether we will succeed in doubting that. It seems to be messing around in Utrecht while Vitesse is getting more and more in shape.

Prediction Today: Draw

Odds: 3.60
