Feyenoord vs FC Utrecht

A tip for Feyenoord. Again, and this time against Heerenveen. A week earlier, Sparta was equivalent in terms of results to Jaap Stam’s team, and last Sunday it was 1-1 in the Abe Lenstra Stadium against Heerenveen after a lead for Feyenoord.

Now two more difficult opponents are coming with FC Utrecht and AZ. It will be interesting to look at the development of Feyenoord. In addition, the Rotterdammers did excellent business in the meantime by booking an excellent victory over Dinamo Tblisis in a European context.

FC Utrecht played a great game of football against PEC Zwolle on Sunday afternoon, but it failed to score in the first half. Zwolle did, so the chagrin was palpable when the local FC went to tea with an unfair backlog. After the break, the team from Utrecht only needed two minutes to turn the deficit into a lead. Later it also became 3-1 and FC Utrecht is in second place in the Premier League.

Anyone who uses purely scoreboard journalism will see that Feyenoord is in a much worse position. But FC Utrecht usually has a hard time in De Kuip. Moreover, Feyenoord now wants to show something to its own public.

On the other hand: such a mid-week European adventure takes energy. We think Feyenoord will be the third draw of the season.

Our Prediction: Draw

Odds: 3.00
