PSV Eindhoven vs Fortuna Sittard

PSV did not succeed in winning the apparently simple game against FC Emmen. And we still thought that the people of Eindhoven had passed the form crisis. Trainer Van Bommel does not yet see it as gloomy, he says. But we are really starting to wonder whether the former midfielder is going to get Christmas as a PSV coach. We haven’t seen the team that played so fresh and offensive at the start of the competition for a while. The gap with competitors Ajax and AZ has become a little bigger again.

Fortuna Sittard is in excellent shape. Sjors Ultee’s team has retained ten points in the last four games. This is partly due to the victory that the Limburgers won in-house at FC Groningen. Karjalainen let the Sittard fans cheer.

But even though there was time for joy: Fortuna Sittard of course remains a team with many unknown strangers and it is therefore not very recognizable for the supporters. But anyway: as long as relegation is not done, one can again build a recognizable team and a successful club in Sittard.

Of course PSV is also the favorite against Fortuna Sittard. PSV must win at home. It is on or under it. Also for Van Bommel.
