I was previously talking about Group E, in the opening match of Croatia vs Hungary. Well, as I mentioned there, we have one of the most balanced groups of these preliminaries. Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary and Wales are separated by only 4 points at the moment, with the mention that the Welsh have a match in the minus. The Slovaks managed the previous stage a vital victory in Hungary, score 2-1, so their chances of qualifying are still high. However, they should avoid defeats like the one with Croatia, 0-4 in front of their supporters.

Marek Hamsik is the scorer of his national team, as expected. The former midfielder from Naples scored twice in this qualifying campaign.

Wales: Team information, moment form

The Welsh have not impressed much so far, with 2 wins and 2 losses recorded in the first 4 rounds. They lost in the trips from Croatia and Hungary, respectively 2-1 and 1-0. On its own ground, however, Wales has performed much better, obtaining a maximum score. They even beat Slovakia with a score of 1-0 and modest Azerbaijan with some emotions, score 2-1.

Gareth Bale was in a shadow cone last season at Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane, however, is counting again on the Welsh side and he is almost a match-winner in La Liga. His performances are more than solid and he is expected to climb the ramp again, to the national team.

This time I do not think we will have such a close game, as in the tour. The stake is a big one, and Wales cannot play the game, because the risk is left out. On the other side, Hamsik & co. they will seek revenge, and supporters will also play a key role.
