The crushing defeat in the first game made Lakatamias’ ENTHOI opportunity to pursue the aggregate so small. Many say this week’s Cyprus Cup second round replay match is only a formality party for AEL Limassol who has set one foot in the next round. However, the match will still be held at the Makario Stadium.

The first game was held at the end of January with an 8-0 win for Limassol who was then the host. They had to wait 14 years to return to the show. Makario after October 2005 brought a 1-2 victory while still fighting in the Cyprus League.
